BCA - Building and Construction Authority

The BCA Academy is the education and research arm of the Building and Construction Authority (BCA), Singapore. Founded in 1984 as the Construction Industry Training Centre (CITC), its main role was the training of craft workers for the rapidly growing construction industry. In 1994, the Centre was renamed the Construction Industry Training Institute (CITI) and was moved to its purpose-built campus at Braddell Road.
CITI was restructured and transformed to become the BCA Academy in 2007. While the training of craftsman for the construction industry remains a key focus, the BCA Academy now take on the new challenge of euipping professionals, managers, executives and technicians with the knowledge, skills and competency to operate effectively in a technologically advanced and modern built environment sector.
BCA Academy is recognized by Ministry Of Education (MOE) as a Government affiliated educational institute that offers construction specific programmes in Singapore. Today, the BCA Academy is probably the only institution in the world that provides a full range of training and education programmes tailored to meet the needs of the building industry at the levels.
BCA Academy has a full suits of academic progression (full-time) from the one-year pre diploma foundation programme to bachelor programme. For the working professional to done their skills and increase their knowledge , there are also two master programme for their selection.

CONSTRUCTION ENGINEERING
This diploma will equip students with relevant technical knowledge and practical skills needed to supervise construction works effectively.

ADMISSION – SCREENING NOT REQUIRED
SCREENING TEST IS NOT REQUIRED FOR THE FOLLOWING QUALFICATIONS
- Candidates with the qualifications but does not meet the subject / grade for one or more subjects from the tables below still required to take our admission screening test.
- Applicants are required to complete the application form (together with a copy of their NRIC / Passport + academic certificates) and submit to BCA for approval.
- International applicants must apply through our approved student recruitment agents.
ADMISSION – REQUIRED SCREENING
SCREENING TEST IS REQUIRED FOR THE FOLLOWING QUALFICATIONS
- We have revised this criteria to include a wider range of qualifications. Any other qualifications can be considered on a case-by-case basis.
- Applicants are required to complete the application form (together with a copy of their NRIC / Passport + Academic certificates) and submit to BCA for approval.
- International applicants must apply through our approved student recruitment agents. Agents will arrange for the applicants to sit for the admission screening test.
- Candidates who pass the admission screening test will be offered the Diploma programme. Candidates who do not pass the admission screening test may be offered the Foundation Programme.
